Walking, biking, pilates....oh my
We have just completed three days in a row of moderate to vigorous exercise. We are doing pilates, walking around the entire neighborhood, using our stationary bike and weight training in the basement. It feels good once it's done, but it can be very difficult getting started. Mom made a great low-fat meal last night that left everyone needing to use some (for dad a lot of) points. For anyone wanting a high protein very low calorie and fat meal try this...Tilapia (1 filet) white potatoes baked with a touch of olive oil and a ranch dressing dry mix, and california blend LARGE vegetables with a hint of lemon pepper. The entire meal was 7 points.

And so it begins...again
When Cody and I first married, we were pretty hot. Now we like to eat things hot. So...for health's sake we have joined Weight Watchers...again. I would love to say this was the first time but it's the 4th time. Weight is an everlasting struggle, but I can honestly say that we really want to make a lifestyle change. I don't want to mention beginning weights but I will say that I am a week ahead of Cody (his schedule didn't allow him to start when I did) so I am at a 5 pound weight loss in 2 weeks and Cody weighed in 2 pounds lighter his first week! It is tough to think 1st before eating anything. I have become a great mathematician since I have to subtract consistently. Here is a before picture although not recent. This was taken over our 10th wedding anniversary vacation in March. Sad to say we look the same...but not for long.
